androgynish asked: I thought it was cute and sweet of you to send me that bonsai treehouse pic.
I hope you thought it was kinda cool. Just made me think of you ;)

Dear Scarlet,
You wanted a mohawk. We let you get one. It’s as simple as that, and it should be.

This is a little confusing to me….is her reflection in the mirror meant to look fat? Like she sees herself as overweight and unhealthy? Cuz the girl in the mirror looks pretty damn fine to me. Hmm.this makes me thankful for my body and self image even if it isn’t perfect.

“and when love came to us twice
and lied to us twice
we decided to never love again
that was fair
fair to us
and fair to love itself.we ask for no mercy or no
miracles;
we are strong enough to live
and to die and to
kill flies,attend the boxing matches, go to the racetrack,
live on luck and skill,
get alone, get alone often,
and if you can’t sleep alone
be careful of the words you speak in your sleep;
and
ask for no mercy
no miracles;and don’t forget:
time is meant to be wasted,
love fails
and death is useless.”― Charles Bukowski, What Matters Most is How Well You Walk Through the Fire

Be happy. Do things that make you happy within the confines of the legal system. Do things that make you feel good and proud. It can be almost anything. Name something. Yes, sure, try that. Contribute to the world. Help people. Help one person. Help someone cross the street today. Help someone with directions unless you have a terrible sense of direction. Help someone who’s trying to help you. Just help. Make an impact. Show someone you care. Say yes instead of no. Say something nice. Smile. Make eye contact. Hug. Kiss. Get naked. Laugh. Laugh as much as you can. Laugh until you cry. Cry until you laugh. Keep doing it even if people are passing you on the street saying, “I can’t tell if that person is laughing or crying but either way they seem crazy, let’s walk faster.” Emote. It’s okay. It shows you are thinking and feeling. Find out who you are and figure out what you believe in. Even if it’s different from what your neighbors believe in and different from what your parents believe in. Stay true to yourself. Have your own opinion. Don’t worry about what people say about you or think about you. Let the naysayers nay. They will eventually grow tired of naying. - Ellen DeGeneres
